1.   Hosted Bike Ride(s):

  • All Ages Welcome / Unlimited Participation
Celebrate Peace and 2023 Earth Day with a choice of hosted bike rides along the beautiful Boise Greenbelt. Three options to choose from! All bike riders gather at area near the Sandbar Patio Grill along the Greenbelt with your bikes, helmets, and water bottles. From there participants may choose one of the following rides:
  1. Ride to the Rotary Wetlands Peace Preserve (where the planting occurred the day before). This is the base course, 2 miles each way, 4 miles round trip along the Greenbelt.
  2. For those who want more bike riding, we stop at the Rotary Wetlands Peace Preserve, and then proceed east along the Northside of the River to the Bob Gibbs Friendship Bridge. We cross the bridge and come back on the south side. That is an 8-miles total loop. Many Rotary points of interest along the way, including the Rotary Park in Julia Davis Park.
  3. For those who want more bike riding AND more environmental awareness building, we can stop at the Wetlands and then proceed west along the south side of the River to the River Pointe Park and Garden City Pollinator Habitat. This is approximately a 9-mile loop.
