District Grants and COVID-19
You can apply for a district grant to support a club project that is related to the COVID-19 pandemic, like purchasing thermometers, protective medical gear, or other items to donate to medical professionals who need them.  As much possible, given social distancing guidelines, your project should have club Rotarian involvement.  The Rotary Foundation made a one time exception to allow expenses related to COVID-19 that were incurred since 15 March 2020 to be reimbursed through 2020-21 district grants.  Unless your grant is directly related to COVID-19, do not incur early expenses.  The need in many communities for all the work done by Rotary Clubs is more important than ever.  All clubs are encouraged to apply for a grant, with easy to follow instructions.  Application deadline is June 1st.
