Here's a nifty new project to help your club promote membership. Have your members bring their recent Rotarian Magazines (after having read them cover to cover, of course) to your club meeting and have someone collect them in a box. Then, about once a month, affix a District 5400 Rotary label over the address label (to obscure your identity). The label has some Rotary info on it and includes a QR code which can be read by smartphones and will direct a person directly to the District website. Then, have your members distribute these "slightly used" magazines to waiting rooms around your community. For example, the hospital or clinic waiting room, any doctor's office, Les Schwab, someplace where there's lots of traffic and lots of waiting! Imagine the stuff you were forced to read the last time you were in the doctor's office! Who knows, maybe some prospective member will pick up and be inspired!! If your club would like to participate, contact Mike Sieler at Eagle/Garden City - he has the labels.
