Rotary Youth Exchange

Applications are being accepted now for short and long-term Rotary Youth Exchanges for students who will be between the ages of 15 and 18.5 as of September 2023.

 

Studying abroad can be a life altering experience in the life of the student, when they learn a new language, discover another culture, and truly become global citizens, furthering Rotary International’s mission of promoting world peace and understanding.

 

Rotary District 5400 sponsors 15 to 20 students each year for our long-term exchange program lasting a full academic year (9-12 months). Our short-term exchange program is also available for student interested in a summer adventure. There is more information listed on our RYE website.

 

Prospective exchange students for either program submit a short application, are interviewed at the club level for a recommendation to the district RYE committee. Those selected to move forward in the process, fill out a longer application and are interviewed, with their parents or guardians, in early December.
