Rotary District 5400 is currently accepting scholarship applications for the 2019-2020 academic year. This scholarship will benefit an incoming college freshman in the 2019-2020 academic year. (The applicant should be preparing to start college in the fall of 2019). The freshman recipient may, under the terms and conditions of the scholarship, be eligible to continue to receive the scholarship for up to three (3) additional years.
The completed applications must be received by September 15, 2019 and must be submitted using the scholarship application that is attached to this e-mail and will also be located on the District 5400 Website. The application may be accessed in one of two forms: One is a Word Doc that must be filled out by hand and the other is a PDF copy that may be completed on-line. Please use whichever form works best for the candidate. Scholarship instructions, eligibility requirements, and restrictions are outlined in the scholarship application. The District 5400 Scholarship Committee, comprised of members throughout the District, will review the candidates and make a final selection on or about October 1, 2019.
Please ask your members to get the word out to potential applicants. This scholarship information will also be sent to the scholarship offices at the eligible colleges and universities.
