The Twin Falls Blue Lakes Rotary Club held their annual Magic Valley Beer Fest on August 3rd
The Twin Falls Blue Lakes Rotary Club held their annual Magic Valley Beer Fest on August 3rd. The fundraiser  brought in close to $50,000. The committee decided to limit the  ticket sales this year to a  limit of 1500. Almost all tickets were sold prior to the event starting at 1pm on the Saturday. The 5 hour event  included 3 bands, 5 food wagons, 82 plus volunteers to help pour beer.
Ticket buyers received a commemorative plastic beer mug in which attendees would take to the different booths and get samples of beer. Also there was lots of silent auction merchandise that would be auctioned off in 3 phases.

Money raised went to predetermined organizations or rotary projects.  Some of those recipients of funds also came out to help in the event. It was very successful.  One person from the Boise area commented how much better this event was than the one held in Boise.  The club looks forward to next year event.
