serve to change lives
Welcome to the 2021-2022 Rotary year!
This is undoubtedly the pinnacle of my many years of service to Rotary to be representing you as District Governor. I have been on a two-year, six-month journey to get prepared for this amazing year of my life. I am delighted and honored to be given the opportunity to serve as your District Governor for the Rotary year 2021-2022.
I am so blessed to have such a great District Leadership Council, 14 Assistant Governors, DGE Janice Fulkerson and DGN Marie Baker as we serve together this year. We are all unified to be servant leaders for our District members.
Congratulations and best wishes to our new Club Presidents as they take on the leadership of their Clubs. I am confident they will have a busy and rewarding year. At every stage in our lives, Rotary has something for each of us. From the moment we became Rotarians, the work of Rotary service was open to us – and it became our obligation to choose how to best serve.
Rotary has been a place for visionaries, those who see how this could be and define a path towards making their dreams a reality. TAKE RISKS. By acting with integrity in our Rotary service, we exhibit a bountiful heart which underscores our commitment to making our world a better than ever before.
The more Rotarians engage in service, the more we all realize what we can achieve, and our potential knows no limits. I wish you a fulfilling year to "Navigate Rotary" as we "Serve to Change Lives”.

Join us for the 10th Annual Magic Valley Beer Festival where we raise money for local charity and projects while enjoying the finests the NW has to offer in beer. We are looking at over 40 brewers with over 100 different beers to try for 1pm to 6 pm at the local Twin Falls City Park.

There is a new feature this year with a VIP ticket option with a new experience with food and beer pairing in your own private area with some other bonus additions as well.  We have launched a new event website at https://magicvalleybeerfestival.com/
Tickets are $30 prior to the event and VIP tickets are $75 (limited number of tickets). We do expect to sell out so buy early. We are thrilled to be back at it following the pandemic and look forward to seeing you at the Twin Falls City Park on August 7th.

lobsterfest is here!
LobsterFest 2021 is back!  Given all the issues with Covid 19, it will be a virtual auction again this year, Sep 3-12, 2021.  There will be an in-person celebration event held outside at the Boise Riverside Hotel on Sep 11.
Do you need to easily raise funds with no upfront costs and a minimal club effort?  The need for Rotary and the things we do is more important now than ever.  LobsterFest is the answer with no financial risk to the Club and no out of pocket costs.
Clubs need to commit to participate in LobsterFest by June 18th.  This means that your Club should do your best to provide auction items and to encourage your members to bid on the auction. We ask you to select someone in your Club to be responsible for obtaining auction items and to encourage Club members and others to bid.  LobsterGhost raised $125,000 for Rotary causes last year.  With your help, LobsterFest 2021 can raise more funds to do more Rotary good!
You can register your club and download the MOU for LobsterFest which explains the revenue sharing and distribution.
