Boise East Rotary Fundraiser Goes Virtual to Benefit Rays for Rare!
Boise East Rotary has transitioned its typical Beer and Brat Fundraiser to be a Virtual "10 for 10" fundraiser this year to benefit a local non-profit organization. The fundraiser is active now and will last until Sept. 18. (Donations will continue to be accepted after this date).  Each member is challenged to recruit 10 donations of $10 each. The local non-profit that will benefit from the fundraiser, Rays for Rare, provides uplifting support to medically fragile children and their families.  They connect families to additional resources in the community and grow relationships through community partner collaborations.
  • Rays for Rare advocates for children with many rare medical conditions, which consist of over 7000 rare diseases from all forms of pediatric cancer, tragic accidents to brain malformations, and health issues that go along with these diseases.
  • The support provided by Rays for Rare consists of many services from housekeeping, meal service, support groups, snow removal, and much more.
To donate, go to www.raysforrare.org and under donations select "10 for 10." For more about Rays for Rare, view their website and also view KTVB Rays for Rare clip.
