District 5400 Learning & Development Committee
Have you ever noticed how much there is to know about Rotary? When you were a new member to Rotary did someone take you aside and teach you the basics of Rotary or did you just learn through being around other Rotarians? Have you looked at all the information included on the Rotary International website? Have you availed yourself to the lessons in the Learning Center?
Do you have a passion to share Rotary information, best practices, new ideas, helping new Rotary members be the best Rotarian they can be or just interested in expanding your knowledge about Rotary? If any of these things sound like something you would like to be involved with, please think about joining the District 5400 Learning & Development Committee.
Our District leadership has some ambitious ideas about how to better serve the clubs in our district with learning and development of club leaders, new members, Interact and Rotaract members. We are in the process of developing plans for some interactive, fun, informative and useful learning sessions for the future. We will need some help to make these sessions as well as other projects the Learning & Development Committee are thinking of a success.
If you would like to be a part of shaping leaders in District 5400 or helping members be armed with information to be the best Rotarians they can be, then think about joining us. We will be having monthly committee meetings that you are welcome to join.
Please let me know if you are that Rotarian.
