POLIO WORLD DAY - Fundraising for Polio Plus with the Western Treasure Valley Rotary Club in Ontario, Oregon.
A few years back, the Western Treasure Valley Rotary Club (WTVRC) in Ontario, Oregon started what has now become a club tradition during October to support Polio Plus.

Each week in October at the weekly Rotary Club meeting a different Rotarian donates a gift basket or new piece of art, or decorative item to be raffled.  All the money raised is contributed to Polio Plus in recognition of Polio Plus and World Polio Day.  This has proved to be a fresh and fun idea. Club members buy tickets each week for the "item of the week".

This year, through a very generous donation from WTVRC member Jed Myers and his family, an item has been donated that is open to District 5400 Rotarians.
