BOISE METRO INVITES YOU TO BELIZE
Aileen Hale from Boise Metro Rotary Invites You On a Belize Site Visit This Summer
Hello Fellow Rotarians!
As a member of the Boise Metro Club leading a Sister Club initiative with a Rotary club in Belize, I am extending an invitation to all club members in Idaho to join
us on our 1st Inaugural Site Visit to Belize.
As a Fulbright Scholar partnering with the University of Belize, in support of educational methods for teacher training , I have had the opportunity to lay the groundwork for international Rotary partnerships, through meeting with 5 Rotary Club Presidents in Belize. The Boise Metro Club is planning to partner with a club in Punta Gorda.
This intent for the initial site visit is to invite others to build relationships for future partnerships/potential projects. It will provide the opportunity for Idaho Rotarians to take leadership initiative for his/her club; current projects; and learn about possibilities for future collaborations. The current focus is on literacy , water, and health related projects. All five Belizean Clubs have expressed great interest in partnering with clubs in Idaho to build long-term, sustainable partnerships and projects.
