1st Place $1,000: Elizabeth Beutler

Objective: “My objective in creating this video is to give my viewers confidence in being able to combat climate change. I hope to inspire my listeners to take action rather than be discouraged by overwhelming statistics.”

2nd Place $750: Ella Driever

Objective: “My film “Wild Roots: Nurturing The Future at Home” educates everyday people of their importance and ability in climate solutions and brings awareness that climate action doesn’t have to be overwhelming, but instead can be as simple as a new hobby. Climate change can be scary, so I want my upbeat film to encourage people of all ages and ability to contribute to the solution in a cost effective and easy way, without the feeling of the world on their shoulders.”

3rd Place $500: Maliah Clawson

Objective: “This video was made to show how much food Americans waste, and what we can do to help our environment. This video is a PSA for everyone who is watching. I just want to raise awareness for food waste.”
