A year in the making: Insulate Ukraine builds 25,000 windows

Rotary District 5400 helped kick this project off over a year ago with Harry Blakiston Houston through a Disaster Relief Grant. Jim Hogge and LeAnn Mobley were truly instrumental in the process from the start. Jim Hogge has helped them connect with USAID for more funding. I’ve connected them with my classmates all over the UK, and they continue to focus on the people impacted on the front lines of the war.
Visit Insulate Ukraine and see the testimonials from people who have been helped. Harry, who never loses sight of the people, has met John Hewko along the way and continues to go the front lines to install windows. Until there is peace in Ukraine, there continues to be work to be done.

In less than a year, Insulate Ukraine has installed over 25,000 shatterproof windows and brought 4,800 civilians home. The frontline windows were designed in the labs of Cambridge by founder Harry Blakiston Houston and are installed daily by civilian teams in Ukraine. The NGO now gives work to over 30 individuals across the war-torn areas.
