Does your community have a “Trunk or Treat”? These family-friendly, tailgate-style community events are becoming popular as a safer alternative to children walking through streets and knocking on doors.
Participation is often free, making it a great way for small businesses or clubs to be visible in the community. How about having your club decorate and sponsor a trunk? As you hand out treats to kiddos, you can give their parents an invitation to a Rotary meeting.
If your community doesn’t have a Trunk or Treat, maybe your club’s service is to start one.
There are lots of ways to combine service with public image. If you have ideas, share them with publicimage@rotary5400.org.
