Success at Sip-n-Frolic

All those who attended the Rotary Club of Boise‘s “Sip and Frolic” event had a lot of fun on Wednesday, February 28!

Working with Lost Grove Brewing for the venue and Auction Frogs to facilitate an online auction, the Club was able to net over $17,000.

The money will go toward two initiatives identified by the Club:

  1. A mobile cancer screening van for rural Colombia.
  2. Curriculum to support youth mental health in the Boise School District junior high and high schools.

The success of the event was due to excellent leadership by Rotarian Dwight Pond, who engaged several fellow Rotarians in the planning and execution—including assembling over 40 silent auction items. It was an event that encouraged fellowship while also raising funds for two worthwhile causes.
