Rotarians help the Environment One Service Project at a Time!

These are exciting times, full of opportunities to make a positive impact on the environment. Would you like to make a difference through Rotary? Our District 5400 Environmental Sustainability Action Team (ESAT) offers a way for members to initiate or support local meaningful environmental service projects.

Last year, ESAT organized and sponsored the first annual statewide Rotary ECO Film Contest for High School students. Out of eight groups that registered, five winners emerged. Today, we’re proud to showcase the first, second, and third-place 2024 ECO Film winners. This year, we’re expanding our efforts to include battery and electronic recycling and building on our previous work with pollinator projects.

Additionally, we’ve compiled a list of speakers eager to address a wide range of environmental topics, ready to fill that gap in your Rotary schedule.

Our planet needs you now more than ever. Would you like to make a difference through Rotary? Do you have an environmental service project that you’re passionate about? Join us on the second Monday of every month at 4 p.m. and tell us about it.
