Dr. Bryan Stone Recognized as 2026 Emmett Cherry Festival Grand Marshal

Dr. Bryan Stone, and Emmett Club Rotarian, has been selected as the 2026 Emmett Cherry Festival Grand Marshal, an honor that reflects a lifetime of service to others. The recognition highlights the many ways Dr. Stone has strengthened his community through medicine, volunteerism, and Rotary service.

Throughout his life, Dr. Stone has been guided by a commitment to helping people. Following a distinguished medical career and years of humanitarian service, he continued giving back after retirement through Rotary and numerous community service efforts in the Emmett area. His dedication to Rotary’s fight against polio has been especially meaningful, stemming from experiences that deepened his understanding of the disease’s impact around the world.

Community members know Dr. Stone as someone who quietly serves wherever help is needed. Whether supporting local schools, assisting at the food pantry, helping with community meals, or contributing behind the scenes to Rotary projects, he has consistently put service above recognition.

As highlighted by the Cherry Festival committee, Dr. Stone’s lasting contribution extends far beyond the many volunteer hours he has given. His example of humility, generosity, and commitment to others has inspired fellow Rotarians and community members alike. Even as he begins passing some long-held responsibilities to the next generation, his dedication to service remains as strong as ever.

The Emmett Cherry Festival’s recognition of Dr. Stone celebrates not only his individual accomplishments, but also the enduring impact one dedicated volunteer can have on an entire community.
