NAMIWalks Twin Falls – May 3, 2025

If you plan to attend the Rotary District 5400 Celebration on May 3, please consider starting your Saturday with NAMIWalks Twin Falls, a brisk 5k walk along the Canyon Rim Trail!

NAMIWalks are pledge-based, 5k walk events that build community support and raise awareness for mental health services across the U.S. Participation is free, and every dollar raised in Idaho stays in Idaho.

Last year, Rotary District 5400 partnered with NAMI Idaho to launch new NAMI Walks in Southern Idaho. This was in response to RI President Gordon R. McInally’s call to focus on mental illness. This year, we’re building on that foundation with events in Twin Falls (5/3), Pocatello (5/10), Boise (5/24), and Idaho Falls (6/14).

Rotary’s presence truly makes a difference! In Twin Falls, we recruited new volunteers to launch a local support group. In Pocatello, community members approached us to start a new affiliate, and Idaho Falls NAMI gained a new Rotarian for their board leadership! In each community, Rotary’s increased visibility, camaraderie, and fellowship significantly advanced this important cause.
