One of my goals this year is to make it easier for Rotarians across District 5400 to stay connected, learn from one another, and share ideas—no matter where they live.
That’s why I’m excited to launch Rotary Town Hall Conversations, a monthly Zoom gathering that’s part conversation, part interview, and part open forum. Each month we’ll spend about 20 minutes visiting with someone, followed by time for questions, discussion, and sharing ideas from around the district.
Our first conversation will be Wednesday, July 15, at 5:30pm, and I’m delighted that Immediate Past District Governor Kathy Buck has agreed to be our first guest. We’ll reflect on her year as Governor, the lessons she learned, what surprised her most, and the advice she’d offer to club leaders as we begin a new Rotary year.
Whether you’re a club officer, a longtime member, or brand new to Rotary, I hope you’ll join us. My hope is that these conversations become a place where we learn from one another, celebrate what’s happening across District 5400, and grow together as leaders.
