One of the most enjoyable features of this year’s Get On Board and Stay on Track Conference was the Wooden Train Competition. Earlier in the year, approximately 40 wooden trains were distributed to clubs throughout District 5400 and members were invited to transform them into unique creations that reflected their club’s personality, creativity, and imagination. The results did not disappoint!
Conference attendees enjoyed viewing the variety of entries on display, each showcasing the talent and ingenuity of its creators. To ensure a fair competition, all trains were displayed anonymously, and three Rotarians served as judges without knowing which club had submitted each entry.
After careful consideration, the winners were:
🥇 First Place: Emmett Rotary Club
🥈 Second Place: Montpelier Rotary Club
🥉 Third Place: Eagle-Garden City Rotary Club
Congratulations to our winners and a heartfelt thank you to all the clubs that participated. The competition added a special element of fun, fellowship, and friendly rivalry to the conference while highlighting the creativity that exists throughout District 5400.
Every entry helped make this year’s TRAIN Conference a memorable journey. Thank you all for climbing aboard and sharing your creativity with the district!
Thank you,
Kathy Buck D5400
